Too Steep är en av mina absoluta favoritlåtar på albumet. Låten bygger faktiskt på mellanspelet i What If It Remains This Way. Tyckte det var en så snygg ackordgång att jag började spela vidare på den och så blev den en vers också. Sen kom pianoslingan och resten av låten som en blixt från klar himmel. Låten skrev klart sig själv på nolltid. Underbart när det händer, för det händer nästan aldrig. Och när det händer vet jag nästan alltid att jag har en bra låt.

Texten handlar om förändring och om hur svårt det kan vara. Ibland känns det omöjligt. Hur mycket man än försöker så står man gång på gång där nere vid foten av berget, och vägen upp verkar allt brantare.
