Illusion Beyond Repair är en av de låtar som hela tiden dök upp så att jag blev oförmögen att avsluta albumet. Bara en låt till skulle med, och en till, och en till. Jag tänkte att om jag skulle bli påkörd eller något annat hemskt så vore det viktigt att alla mina låtar skulle finnas ute till allmän belyssning. Därför gav jag mig i kast med jätteprojektet att släppa arton låtar på en gång. Möjligen kommersiellt självmord eftersom ”man inte gör så längre” men det struntade jag i. Låtarna skulle ut.

En ganska knepig låt detta att både sjunga och spela. Låten prövar mitt sångregister i båda ändar och flera av gitarrplocken är småkluriga. Videon spelade jag in i Ritsem under en fjällvistelse. Låten handlar om att vi nog nåt irreversibilitet avseende den globala uppvärmningen. Dvs, det kan redan vara kört.
